Remote Deposit Online allows your business to make deposits remotely using a bank scanner. Just scan paper checks using a bank approved check scanner from your place of business and send the images securely over the internet to Bank of America for deposit.
This service gives you the flexibility to manage your business on your schedule. There are no limit to the number of deposits.
Yes. The service costs $15 a month. Your monthly service fee may differ from those of other clients enrolled in the Service, based on the Bank’s assessment of your overall relationship with us.
We will send you a Remote Deposit Online check scanner at no additional charge when you enroll. If you decide to discontinue service, the scanner will need to be returned within 30 days from the date of your termination to avoid the $250 Late Return Fee.
There are no limits to the number of total deposits you can make per month.
There is a limit of 99 items per deposit. The daily deposit limit is $999,999.99.

Remote Deposit Online is subject to a two-year contractual commitment with a $250 Early Termination Fee if canceled by you or Bank of America (including, for example, for more than 12 consecutive months of inactivity) after the initial 30-day trial and prior to expiration of the two-year agreement period. Upon expiration of the two-year commitment, the RDO Service and Agreement, including any fees, will continue without an Early Termination Fee until Service is terminated by you or Bank of America. A $250 Late Return Fee will be applied if the scanner is not returned within 30 days of termination.
Clients that unenroll or are terminated by the bank will need to wait 90 days before they are eligible for re-enrollment. Clients must still meet the eligibility requirements.

You'll log in directly through Business Online Banking. If you're a business banking customer, select the Remote Deposit Online link from the Business Services navigation menu. If you're a personal banking customer with a business checking account, select the Scan checks to deposit link from your Account Details page.
No. At this time, the service can only support a single user with a single User ID. The business owner can assign a sub-user to make deposits, but only 1 User ID is used. We're currently working to establish additional features so that more than a single user and/or User ID can be supported.
Each separate business entity with a different business name and/or tax identification number (TIN) must complete a separate Remote Deposit Online enrollment. One business entity per RDO enrollment.
Yes, the scanner is not assigned to a particular client.
After you send check images using Remote Deposit Online, the endorsed deposited items must be safeguarded for a minimum of 14 calendar days from the date of transmission. After 14 days they must be destroyed or otherwise rendered incapable of transmission or presentment.
In order to enroll in the service, you must be designated as an authorized signer or owner of an account that is eligible for this service and be approved by us. Eligibility is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, account tenure and balance. We may determine other eligibility criteria in our sole discretion. No. Remote Deposit Online does not provide the ability to verify funds at time of deposit. Please note that these deposits are subject to holds.
No. Currently the service only supports deposits to your business account.
