Mission

The W.P. & Bulah Luse Foundation was established in 1947. Mr. Luse, a self-made wildcatter in the early Texas oilfields, and his wife Bulah created this foundation to support and promote quality education, human services and health care programming for underserved populations. Special consideration is given to charitable organizations that serve the people of Dallas, Texas, and its surrounding communities.

Guidelines

The W.P. & Bulah Luse Foundation has biannual deadlines of June 1 and December 1.

The majority of grants from the Luse Foundation are 1 year in duration.

Organizations that receive a 1-year grant from the W.P. & Bulah Luse Foundation must skip 2 years before submitting a subsequent application. For example, if your organization submitted a grant application for the December 2016 deadline and was awarded a grant in March, your organization is not eligible to re-apply until December of 2018.
