Mission

The Elizabeth Carse Foundation was established in 1970 to promote education and child welfare in Connecticut.

Guidelines

The Elizabeth Carse Foundation has an annual deadline of August 15. Applicants will be notified of grant decisions by letter within 2 to 3 months after the proposal deadline.

Special consideration is given to organizations that provide training to elementary and secondary school teachers in "assisting children to achieve better standards of living."

Grant requests for general operating support or capital projects will not be considered.

Grants from the Carse Foundation are 1 year in duration. Applicants will not be awarded a grant for more than 3 consecutive years.
