Baseball
In 2004, Bank of America became the first company ever to be recognized as the Official Bank of Major League Baseball®, Minor League Baseball™ and Little League Baseball®. This unique association with America's favorite pastime represents an unprecedented level of commitment, enabling Bank of America to connect on a local level and provide opportunities to fans of all ages - from big league ballparks to the neighborhood sandlots where kids first learn to play the game.
Our association with Major League Baseball includes a presenting sponsorship of the National and American League Player of the Week awards, and extensive broadcast, on-site branding and hospitality at the All-Star Game, the Division Series, the League Championships Series, and the World Series. Bank of America's national affiliation with Minor League Baseball includes relationships with over 50 Minor League Baseball teams throughout the country. As the Official Bank of Little League Baseball, Bank of America has an on-site presence at the Little League World Series and has also created a referral fundraiser tool that all teams across our footprint can use to raise money for their leagues.
Bank of America has a proud and long-standing association with baseball that was born out of a shared belief in individual performance, teamwork, and the drive to succeed. Bank of America's sponsorship of America's favorite pastime provides a strong national and local platform from which our company creates opportunities for customers, communities and associates in a variety of ways. At Bank of America, we view our sponsorship of baseball as a home run in a game where everybody wins.
Football
Bank of America is the first-ever Official Bank of the National Football League®. Under this historic agreement, Bank of America will have the exclusive rights in the banking services category to use the NFL shield logo and other NFL-licensed marks, such as the Super Bowl, through the 2009 season. Bank of America is also the Official Bank of the Carolina Panthers™, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots™ and Washington Redskins.
The broad and avid appeal of the NFL gives us the opportunity to deliver national brand messaging while creating unique local programs to achieve the goals and priorities in each NFL market we sponsor. We partner with local markets to identify community programs that align with local market priorities, such as Habitat for Humanity. Our association with America's most popular sport will further enable Bank of America to connect on a local level and provide opportunities to all NFL fans.
2008 Olympic Games
Bank of America is widely recognized as a major corporate sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Team, creating opportunities for the nation's best athletes to represent the United States in world-class competition.
The ideals that guide the company – dedication, performance, teamwork and, most importantly, opportunity – are embodied in Bank of America's proud support of the U.S. Olympic Team and are shared by every athlete who pursue their own dreams and opportunities.
Bank of America's earliest known involvement with the U.S. Olympic Movement dates back to 1921, when the bank provided leadership and financing for the Los Angeles Coliseum, site of the 1932 and 1984 Olympic Games. In 1992, Bank of America signed on as an official sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Team that competed in Barcelona, Spain. The company has supported every U.S. Olympic Team since, including the American athletes who will compete in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

Now in the fifth year of our title sponsorship, Bank of America is proud to continue our association with this prestigious event. Dating back to 1993, when the tournament was called the Bank of Boston Senior Golf Classic, representatives from our company have been making sure that this event not only brings great golf to the Boston area each year, but that it also gives something back to the local community.
