As a Platinum Privileges client, you've been enjoying special Bank of America® banking and Merrill Edge® investment benefits. As part of our commitment to continually improve our rewards and benefits, we're excited to introduce Bank of America Preferred Rewards. With Preferred Rewards, as your Bank of America deposit and/or Merrill Edge® and Merrill Lynch® investment balances grow, so do your benefits.

Transitioning to Preferred Rewards

If you qualify for Preferred Rewards, you can enroll anytime. Your new Preferred Rewards benefits will replace your existing Platinum Privileges benefits.

Your current Platinum Privileges® benefits

If you don't yet qualify for Preferred Rewards or aren't ready to enroll, we're offering a transitional period between programs that will allow you to continue enjoying your Platinum Privileges benefits, including:

  • A dedicated customer service team at 888.562.1000
  • No fees on select banking services
  • The ability to save with your existing Platinum Money Market Savings accountFootnote 1
  • A special relationship benefit on home loansFootnote 2
  • 30 $0 online equity and ETF trades per monthFootnote 3 with an online investment account from Merrill Edge ♦ Other fees may apply

  • ♦ In addition to your stock or ETF [or option] commissions, sell orders also may be subject to a fractional share liquidation fee of 10% of proceeds and a transaction fee (of between $0.01 to $0.03 per $1,000 of principal). If applicable, this fee appears under "Transaction Fee" on a Trade Confirmation. There are also fees associated with investing in ETFs.
