Borrowers Protection Plan® for unexpected events

If you're already enrolled in the optional Borrowers Protection Plan, you have loan protection that:

  • Can cancel, rather than defer, your monthly loan payments (principal, interest and any plan fee) for a specified period of time if your qualifying event meets the eligibility requirements of your plan
  • Doesn't restrict your ability to receive Borrowers Protection Plan benefits in addition to benefits you may receive from any active insurance policies or company plans you may have

Credit Protection Plus benefit requests

All active enrollments in Credit Protection were canceled on September 1, 2013. If you were enrolled in Credit Protection, you may request benefits for any protected event that happened on or before the date your protection was canceled.

Credit Protection benefits are not available for events that happened after the date your protection was canceled. For eligibility requirements, exclusions and benefit notification timelines, please refer to your Credit Protection terms and conditions.
