Bank of America’s formalized Supplier Diversity & Development program began in 1990 to accomplish two main objectives:
- Ensure that diverse businesses are afforded maximum opportunity to participate in our competitive contracting and procurement processes.
- Increase the amount of quality products and services we obtain directly from diverse businesses, which includes small and medium sized businesses with annual revenue less than $50 million.

- Small disadvantaged businesses
- Small to medium sized businesses
- Veteran-owned small businesses including Disabled veteran-owned small businesses and Service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses
