Bank of America’s formalized Supplier Development program began in 1990 to accomplish two main objectives:
Ensure that diverse businesses are afforded maximum opportunity to participate in our competitive contracting and procurement processes.
Increase the amount of quality products and services we obtain directly from businesses that are owned by minorities, women, disabled veterans and disabled persons, or indirectly through companies sharing our commitment to diversity.
Helping diverse businesses grow through contracting opportunities and/or bank products and services allows Bank of America to grow at the same time.
