As an account holder, you'll be given the opportunity to enroll in our Keep the Change®1 saving service. Each purchase with your GW Check Card will be rounded up to the next dollar and the difference will be transferred from your checking account to your savings account. We match your Keep the Change savings at 100% for the first three months, and 10% thereafter, up to a maximum total match of $250 per year. This reward will be paid annually to your savings account. Upon enrollment, we will round up your Visa® Check Card purchases to the nearest dollar and transfer the difference from your checking account to your Bank of America savings account. We will match your Keep the Change savings at 100% for the first three months and, for George Washington Alumni Association customers, 10% thereafter. The maximum total match is $250 per year. Matching funds are paid annually after the anniversary of enrollment on accounts that remain open and enrolled. We will only match Keep the Change transfers on up to five checking accounts per depositor (including joint depositors) or up to five checking accounts per household, whichever is less. Eligible savings accounts include, but are not limited to, Regular Savings that requires a minimum opening balance of $25 and pays a variable Annual Percentage Yield (APY) that was 0.10% as of 11/05/09.
