As an Online Banking customer, you can check your balances and find out which charges have cleared. And with the addition of My Portfolio®, you can also manage your complete financial portfolio—even if some of the information comes from other financial institutions or online accounts. (Note: To view accounts from another financial institution, you must have online access set up at each institution.)
My Portfolio™ automatically displays your Bank of America accounts, as well as information about your 401(k) frequent flier miles and more from other institutions—all in one place. In addition to allowing you to track your net worth, My Portfolio also allows you to:
- Automatically categorize transactions into expense and income categories
- Set goals for each income and expense category and create a monthly budget
- View charts and graphs that are created automatically for you to measure how you are doing against your goals
- Track credit card usage so you can keep a watchful eye on your charges and keep your spending in check. You can also see your 401(k) and IRA accounts so you can keep an eye on your future.
- Get updates on your rewards, points or miles from many airlines, credit cards and other companies. You can access them all in one location within Online Banking.
- Add news feeds and integrate your email accounts so you can access news, stay in touch with friends and family, and view information related to your financial accounts from a single location
In addition to providing valuable tools for individuals, small business owners can also use My Portfolio to follow their business expenses. Not only will it help you understand how your expenses are tracking against your income, but its charts and graphs will help you locate expenses that can be consolidated for additional savings.
