I'm a customer with the overseas Department of Defense (DOD) Community Bank. Can I use Bank of America banking centers?

No. Bank of America has a contract with the Department of Defense to operate the Community Banks on overseas military installations. However, Community Bank customers are not customers of Bank of America or Bank of America Military Bank, and vice versa.

If you need help with your Community Bank account while you're overseas, contact your local Community Bank. If you need help while you're in the U.S., call 1.800.239.9427. To open a Community Bank account, contact the Community Bank on arrival in the overseas country. Community Banks are located on U.S. military installations in Japan, Okinawa, South Korea, Diego Garcia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Iceland and Holland.

What's my ABA routing number?

If you are reordering checks, setting up direct deposit or preparing a wire transfer, you will likely be asked to provide an ABA routing number. ABA routing numbers expedite the processing of debits and credits between financial institutions.

The ABA routing number is also called a routing transit number and is a 9 digit number on the bottom of your check. Please refer to the check images below to find your routing number.

If you have questions about your ABA routing number, please call 1.800.334.1920 between Monday and Friday 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Central Time and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Central Time (except on U.S. holidays) for assistance.
