How do I add my pet's photo to my card?

Once you're approved for the PetRewards Visa Card, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to electronically upload your pet's photo or to print a mail-in form. Once your photo has been uploaded or we've received by mail, a new PetRewards card displaying your pet's picture will be mailed to you within one to two weeks.

Do I have to upload my photo online?

No, you can print out a mail-in form, fill it out, and send it back to us with a photo through the mail. Photos sent through the mail will not be returned.

Generally, one to two weeks.

Can I add a photo on my family member's credit card?

You can add your pet's photo to more than one card on the same account if both Social Security numbers are on the account. Photos sent through the mail will not be returned.

Can I add a photo on more than one account?

Yes, as long as it's a standard Bank of America Visa Gold or Platinum card.

Can I put a different photo of my pet on another Bank of America Visa card?

No, you can only request one photo for a standard Bank of America Gold or Platinum credit card. Our system only lets us store one photo per customer.

No, you can only put your pet's photo on a standard Bank of America Visa Gold or Platinum card.

Is there a fee to add my pet's photo?

Your first photo selection on one or more cards is free. If you wish to change your photo, each change costs $4.95 no matter how many cards you change it on. The change fee will be charged to your credit card account.

Are there photos I cannot submit?

Bank of America reserves the right to reject any submitted photo. Photos will be excluded based on, but not limited to, the following criteria:

  • You must have permission to use a professional photo, a photo including artwork, or a photo including other individuals
  • Photos of celebrities, athletes, musicians, or public figures will not be accepted
  • Photos containing provocative, offensive, racial, or political material will not be accepted
  • Photos with trademarked material, advertising, promotional materials, website addresses, or competitive marketing will not be accepted

Can I edit my pet's photo?

Yes, you will be able to crop, rotate, or delete your photo.

Do I need to resize my photo?

No. When you submit a large photo online, we automatically resize it to improve upload and viewing times while maintaining the quality of your photo.

What suggestions can you offer in submitting a photo?

Choose a clear, sharply focused color or black and white photo. Close-ups work best.

Can I change the photo if I'm not happy with the preview?

Yes, you will have the opportunity to edit the photo again or choose a different photo.

What is a digital photo?

A digital photo is any photo saved in an electronic format on a diskette, CD-Rom, or on your computer. You may have taken photos with a digital camera, scanned an old photo, or received a photo from a friend or family member through email.

What if I don't have a digital photo?

You can scan a photo, save it to your computer and come back to this site. You may also print out a mail-in form, fill it out, and mail it back to us along with your photo. Photos sent through the mail will not be returned.
